First-Year Courses Open for Upper Years to Address Deficiencies

Please be informed that, starting July 14, 2025, first-year courses will become available for upper-year students to register for. This measure is designed to assist students in fulfilling any academic deficiencies.

To enroll in these courses, students should add the subjects directly through their SIS portal. Fees will be automatically adjusted in your student accounts.



Important Notification: General Education Elective Selection Policy

Please be advised of important policies governing your selection of General Education (GE) Electives during registration. These guidelines are in place to ensure adherence to Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Orders (CMOs).

To ensure compliance, kindly note the following:

  1. No Repetition of Topics: You are not permitted to take the same GE elective topic more than once. Please ensure your choices are distinct from any GE electives you may have previously taken.
  2. Domain Coverage Requirement: In accordance with CHED CMOs, your chosen GE electives must collectively cover at least two (2) distinct domains of knowledge. The recognized domains are:
    • Arts and Humanities
    • Social Sciences and Philosophy
    • Science, Technology, and Mathematics

To assist you in making informed decisions and ensuring compliance with the domain coverage requirement, please refer to the domain assignment for the available GE Elective topics below:

July 7, 2025 - July 12, 2025 Payment of Student Registration Regular Students, Irregular Students (with Deficiencies, Shiftees) To guarantee your student registration is marked as enrolled and to avoid any purging issues, complete all online payments at least two days before the purging date. This allows the Finance Office sufficient time to process and post your payment.
July 7, 2025 Registration via SIS:
  • View Courses. Courses are pre-defined with sections and schedules
  • For students with GE Elective courses, select GE Elective Courses schedule.
  • Dropping will be managed by Department Chairs. (ONLY for Scholars and Probationary Students)
  • Settle payment at the Finance Office to confirm enrollment.
Regular Students UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS:
Check SIS portals for possible holds. Settle Financial Obligations and Holds, i.e. Finance, OSA, Library, Physical Plant, etc.
Note that as we had in the past, students with outstanding balances will not be able to view or print their grades, and in the process, will not be able to create registration for the second semester.
July 9-12, 2025 Purging of Registration: At midnight of purging date, unpaid registrations will be canceled, and slots will be released for other students. Regular Students UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: Purging of Unpaid Registration Schedule:

  • View the updated list of available slots.
  • Select courses to ADD. (ONLY for deficiencies and GE Electives)
  • Dropping will be managed by Department Chairs.
  • Settle payment at the Finance Office to confirm enrollment.
  • Irregular Students (with Deficiencies)

    Shiftees
    • View Courses designated as regular offerings within their respective programs.
    • Add Courses identified as deficiencies and offered this semester.
    • Add Courses for GE Electives (if applicable)
    July 11, 2025
    • Add Subjects to Address Dropped Subjects from Original Registration
    • Settle payment at the Finance Office to confirm enrollment.
    Regular Students
    • Purged student registrations will be restored, including any remaining preloaded courses.
    • Previously preloaded courses that were removed can be added, provided there are still available slots in other sections.
    July 14, 2025 Start of First Semester Classes for AY 2025-2026 All Enrolled Students The First Semester term officially begins.
    July 14-15, 2025 Merging and Dissolution of Classes Department Chairs
  • Department Chairs request for merging and dissolution of classes. This will be endorsed by the deans to the registrar for implementation.
  • July 14-18, 2025(Non-extendible) Late Enrollment All Students
    • Payment must be made within 24 hours from enrolment. Unpaid registrations will be thereafter purged.

    Notification: Summer 2025 Enrollment Reminder

    In compliance with Section 1.1.14 of the Student Handbook on Post Registration/Enrollment Period, the following guidelines apply:

    "Late enrollment may only be allowed within the first week of classes for a regular semester, or the first two days of summer classes, subject to the payment of surcharges. Payment of the enrollment fees and dues must be made within 24 hours from registration. Failure to do so will result in the automatic cancellation of enlistment. Students who fail to confirm their enrollment via their payment of the fees before the deadline set (or the commencement of the Enrollment Confirmation and Reservation Cancellation Procedure) shall be treated as late enrollees when no payment has been made prior to the start of classes."

    As such:

    The creation and updating of Student Registrations for Summer 2025 enrollment will be allowed until 5:00 PM on June 3, 2025.

    Payment of registration must be settled ONSITE/ON CAMPUS no later than 5:00 PM on June 4, 2025.

    Any unpaid student registrations under Summer 2025 enrollment will be purged and removed from the system after this deadline. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth enrollment process.

     

    Adjustment to Purging Schedule for Unpaid Student Registrations

    In compliance with the 72-hour policy for purging unpaid student registrations, we are adjusting the schedule to accommodate the delay in system access on Monday. The purging of unpaid student registrations will now take place at 1:00 PM on May 29, 2025.

    The Summer 2025 registration will be available in SIS at 1:00 pm today, May 26, 2025.
